Our Lil Wolves Fall/Winter program takes place indoors at Fitnest (7009 S 109th St). These are 6 week sessions that work on running form, coordination and balance. This is a good program for kids in any sport or if your just wanting to get a good hour of exercise in each week.
West Omaha Track Club's Lil Wolves program is for boys and girls ages 3-6. This program is an introduction to the world of track & field. The athletes will learn to run staying in their lanes, long jump, jump over hurdles and throw a javelin. We always stress the positive and do a lot of clapping and cheering.
Session 1, April through May and Session 2 June into July. Each session will last 6 weeks with two meets. See calendar for exact dates.
We will only be allowing 25 athletes per group due to the Covid restrictions. Hope to be able to add more. On the bright side, this will allow us to give the kids more "teaching" time instead of "herding" time. The groups will be split by ages. Each practice we will warm up, stretch and the rotate to each event. The practices begin at 6:00 and are done between 6:45-7:00.
Each session will have two meets. One on the 3rd week of the session and the Championship meet on the 6th week. At each meet all athletes will receive awards, with a special one at the Championship meet.
The cost is $75 and includes Wolves t-shirt and Awards
Refunds will be charged a 20% fee
